Family Voice Hub Family Drop-in replaces Tea-Tastic Tuesday Zoom calls during Summer Scheme 2021

To facilitate parents and carers with the Autonomie SAIL Summer Scheme 10:00am Tuesday mornings drop-off, Family Voice Hub will host a Tuesday morning drop-in for parents straight after they leave their young person at the Summer Scheme.

Starting today (Tuesday 20th July 2021) the Tuesday drop-in will take place throughout the Summer Scheme in July and August instead of our usual Parents Tea-Tastic Tuesday 10:00 Zoom call.

Parents, why not pop by the Hub at Lilac House for a cuppa and a chat with Family Voice Co-Ordinator Sharon. ☕️ 🥤

For all family support queries and signposting please get in touch with Sharon by email at sharon.autonomie@gmail.com.

The Autonomie 2021 Summer Scheme is here!

The much anticipated Autonomie SAIL Summer scheme for starts today for Group A young people.

The popular annual summer scheme will run from 10:00am until 1:00pm at Annadale Community Centre, 49 Delhi Parade, Belfast BT7 3BU.

Summer Scheme 2021 Schedule July and August

We will provide two small snacks throughout the session e.g., biscuit, fruit, yogurt. Please ensure your young person has had breakfast before they arrive to the summer scheme each day. Lunch will not be provided as a time slot will not be allocated as we are finishing at 1:00pm (lunch time) each day to reduce the risk due to ongoing covid-19 pandemic.

As the sun is shining and the UV rays are strong, we would kindly ask that all young people are wearing sunscreen and appropriate clothing and footwear for all activities.

The summer scheme has a cost of £20 for the full summer scheme and £10 if your young person is only attending 2 sessions per week or one week out of the two weeks.

We would ask if you could kindly pay this on the first day of summer scheme for your young person.

If you haven’t already done so, please can you return your young persons new membership form.

Team Autonomie are super excited to have Group A join us tomorrow! A FUN time awaits!

More young people enjoy first face to face activities as restrictions ease

On Saturday 12 June it was Group B’s turn to enjoy their first face to face session this year.

As you can tell from the pictures, great fun was had by all, and a big thumbs up from young person and volunteer Gary.

Emma explains more:

“We started with a drink and snack then did a check-in and some discussions about how everyone was feeling. Everyone was pleased to get back to see their friends.

“We moved onto our Father's day arts and crafts activities that where organised by Tessie.

“We divided into 2 groups and made some lovely cards and coasters.

“After arts and crafts we played some games to round off the session. Everyone really enjoyed the session.”

Freedom2Choose is delivered as part of SAIL programme in partnership with funders including The National Lottery Community Fund NI.
