What Next programme participants undertake two day Transport training

Better mobility is key to social and economic inclusion of young people with additional needs.

That’s why Transportation is a key theme of the What Next programme.

Over 2 days (18-19 October) young people participated in Transport training, learning about public transport services available in Belfast and beyond, the #JAMCard and how it can help make your journey easier as well as learning about ways to help plan for seamless, accessible public transport experiences.

Then it was full steam ahead to put learning into practice - a train journey making use of the NI Railways network.

We would like to extend our thanks to Department for Infrastructure for the Access Travel Wallets, Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs for the Travel Safe books and NOW Group for the JAM (Just A Minute) Cards.
