Lilac House (Linked Independent Living and Advice Centre) not only has a brand new modern toilet and shower room installed. The centre now has two new bedrooms giving young people with additional needs a chance to try independent living on the premises using trained facilitators.

At Autonomie, staff and volunteers work tirelessly to promote the principles of independent living, and young people with additional needs who choose to get involved in our new What Next? project in partnership with Big Lottery Fund's 'Empowering Young People' will even get a chance to try independent living at purpose-designed units on the premises.

Fit-out of the facilities which will be used by Independent Living Experience facilitators is currently underway at Lilac House with completion due later this month.

The fully accessible three storey centre also has two new bedrooms and a modern fully equipped kitchen which will be used by young people as part of the programme.
