Day 2 of our summer scheme a great success and first up today was a Jumping Clay sensory arts and crafts session. Áine who led the session explains what participants enjoyed:
“This morning’s summer scheme session was arts and crafts themed and we watched a tutorial from our friends at Jumping Clay.
“Our task was to make a seaside crab which fitted in perfectly with our summer holiday theme of the fortnight.
“Every single young person concentrated extremely well and had lots of laughs making silly mistakes.
“The crabs turned out beautifully and we are excited to see the accessories they are going make using the remaining clay in their free time.
“This task was tricky but very rewarding and the staff were really impressed by everyone’s efforts.
“Thanks Rebekah from Jumping Clay and thank you to all of our lovely young people and very helpful parents.”
