Autonomie has opened its newly refurbished toilet and shower facilities at Lilac House. The improvements were carried out with help from the Big Lottery Fund. The upgrade is part of ongoing investment into improving the centre.
Chairman welcomes new members of staff
Autonomie has recently welcomed five new members of staff to help support young people living with a disability.
The new members of staff are part of a team that will deliver a new community-based pilot project to support disabled young people aged between 14 and 25.
The three-year project called What Next? will be delivered at the charity's newly opened centre LILAC House (Linked Independent Living and Advice Centre) in the south of the city.

Autonomie's new centre LILAC House (Linked Independent Living and Advice Centre), opened in South Belfast with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by performed by Belfast born author and illustrator Oliver Jeffers, a patron of the charity. The event was attended by Staff and volunteers, young people that attend Freedom2Choose, families and members of the local community.
