Chairman welcomes new members of staff

Autonomie has recently welcomed five new members of staff to help support young people living with a disability.

The new members of staff are part of a team that will deliver a new community-based pilot project to support disabled young people aged between 14 and 25.

The three-year project called What Next? will be delivered at the charity's newly opened centre LILAC House (Linked Independent Living and Advice Centre) in the south of the city.

On Saturday 17 February, young people continued with their preparation for the 'Autonomie Musical Extravaganza' with dance moves, making ‘under the sea' props, and choosing their own pizza toppings before tucking in. Well done to everyone and especially Aisling who came up with the pizza idea.

On Saturday 3 February creativity was the theme for the afternoon as young people got to practice for the 'Autonomie Musical Extravaganza' and worked as a team making scenery for the show.

Thanks to our staff, volunteers, partners and the young people for making the session a huge success.
