There was lots more fun on the afternoon of Wednesday 22 July 2020 at Autonomie as members enjoyed a games session and played a “get to know us better” quiz.

Áine who led the session explains:

“I used facts that the young people and their parents had sent me privately and created a guessing game to see how well we know each other.

“The young people were very good at this and knew their friends really well.

“Some were tricky and we learnt lots of new facts about everyone along the way.

“We played a “Danni or Aine” game which is a bit like the TV show ‘Mr and Mrs’ where we tested our friendship.

“The young people found this very entertaining because we didn’t agree on much. Our drawing skills also left a lot to be desired.

“We finished the session with a picture round where we had to guess which staff member or volunteer’s face had been blurred.

“This round went very quickly as everyone was good at recognising them from the rest of their appearance or the picture itself.

“It was nice to have a session devoted to getting to know and discuss each of our members and we all did surprisingly well.”
